Lorie Lewis, Co-producer
Lorie Lewis is the Founder of Wings4Peace, a national movement that seeks to infuse peace into America’s gun violence epidemic, raising funds and awareness by producing visual and performing arts initiatives.
A longtime participant and patron of the arts, Lorie spent many years of her life on stage in musicals and choirs. She is now behind the scenes building a community of peace through the arts and fulfilling her personal mission to harness the power of the arts as a way to connect, heal, challenge, and transform.
As a creative and innovative marketing, management, and communication professional, Lorie has most recently held marketing director roles at Milford Arts Council and Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County. She holds a Master of Arts in Arts Management and a Bachelor’s degree in English. Her heart for service has put her on a path as a community organizer, youth leader, fundraiser, and board member.
Wings4Peace has a three-prong strategy to: 1) build a unified coalition of pro-peace citizens; 2) encourage people to vote for pro-peace candidates; 3) raise money for pro-peace/anti-gun violence organizations.
